Since summer 2023, guests can also enjoy these culinary delights on our terrace, “Le Dézaley Soleil”, directly next to the iconic towers of the Grossmünster church. Our cheese fondue, which we prepare according to an old family recipe, is a particular favourite. If you wish, it can be accompanied by a mixed platter of air-dried meats. The cheese fondue can also be enjoyed with morel mushrooms or black truffle. Our two purely meat fondues – Fondue Bourguignonne and Fondue Chinoise – are also legendary. In addition, our restaurant is renowned for the Zurich culinary classic, Kalbgeschnetzeltes Zürcher Art (strips of pan-fried veal in a creamy mushroom sauce) with a side of rösti potatoes. The menu also includes a delicious assortment of dishes from Western Switzerland, such as Saucisson vaudois or, depending on the season, Saucisses aux choux. Our wine cellar offers a wide selection of the best wines from the UNESCO World Heritage wine region of Lavaux, which lies between Lausanne and Montreux. More than 30 different Vaudois wines reflect our origins – the winegrowers from Lake Geneva who already back in 1902 started to present their wonderful products to a wider public in Switzerland’s largest city.
